I mounted the sign on a mahogany backboard that fits flat against the shingles. All the controls, including the addition of a timer, are mounted on a board inside the garage. I used the timer instead of the sensor included with the light panel. The result is spectacular and the numbers are visible from the street fifty feet away at only 30% illumination. I already have neighbors asking where I purchased this.
